      The Role:

      Primary Role: Actors/Performers

      Secondary Role: Office/Project Administration Team

      Access to Play is offering paid opportunities for NYSC Corp Members and Interns in both short-term (Internship) and long-term (NYSC) service positions in Abuja and Benue State, Nigeria. We are seeking passionate individuals with skills in office operations or artistic facilitation and performance skill who are eager to contribute to our impactful projects. Whether you have a background in administrative tasks or are skilled in drama and theatre, this is an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team and support our creative initiatives aimed at promoting social change.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Artistic Facilitation: Lead or assist in creative workshops, performances, and community engagement activities using art and theatre to foster healing and empowerment in marginalized communities.
      • Office Operations: Provide support in administrative tasks such as data entry, communications, project coordination, and assisting with the day-to-day operations of the office.
      • Project Support: Collaborate with the team to help plan and implement various creative projects, ensuring they meet the needs of the communities we serve.
      • Documentation & Reporting: Assist in documenting project activities, preparing reports, and sharing progress and outcomes with stakeholders.

      Skills we are Looking For:

      • Artistic Skills: A passion for or experience in using art, theatre, or any other creative medium in community-based initiatives. Previous experience in facilitating art workshops or performances is highly desirable.
      • Office Operations: Strong organizational and communication skills. Experience in office administration, data entry, or project coordination is a plus.
      • Passion for Social Change: A genuine commitment to using your skills to help support marginalized and vulnerable communities through creative expression.
      • Team Player: Ability to collaborate with a diverse team, show initiative, and learn in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
      • Fluency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
      • Must be able to commit to either short-term or long-term service.
