Who Can Apply

We welcome applications from:

• Individual Performers – solo improvisers or storytellers presenting their own work
• Ensembles & Theatre Groups – established or emerging groups performing improv or playback theatre
• Playback & Improv Artists – performers working specifically in playback or improvisational theatre
• Cross-disciplinary Performers – artists blending improvisation with music, movement, storytelling, or other creative formats

Whether you’re an emerging artist or an experienced performer, this is your chance to connect with a global community of improvisers and storytellers.

Performance Formats

We are open to a wide variety of formats, including:

• Short-form improv
• Long-form improv
• Improv jams
• Playback theatre performances
• Experimental or new formats
• Classic showcase performances

If your work explores improvisation and playback theatre, we encourage you to apply.

Important Information

As this is a new festival without external funding, we want to be transparent:

• Performers will receive meals on the days they perform

• No payment or honorarium will be provided

• Travel and accommodation are the responsibility of the performers, unless otherwise supported through scholarships

• You will receive a confirmation email once your application is submitted

• Our team will contact selected performers with next steps, including scheduling, technical setup, and logistical details

• Submission does not guarantee selection
