The Ensemble: Performing for Change and Mental Health is a dedicated unit under Access to Play that harnesses the power of theatre to promote healing, build social connections, and support mental wellness. Our ensemble is made up of talented actors who join the company with a shared mission: to use the art of improvisation and playback theatre to impact communities in need.

We offer weekly rehearsals and training for our ensemble members, developing their skills in these powerful theatre forms. These trained actors perform at various events, including for displaced persons, hospice residents, corporate teams, and more, bringing mental health support, healing, and connection through performance. By engaging in creative play and interactive theatre, The Ensemble helps communities build resilience, foster empathy, and improve emotional well-being.
